Why our Lentorre 2027 Trip Sold out Faster Than Any other

Our 2027 photographic trip to Lentorre sold out in record time. It’s always encouraging when a tour gains that kind of momentum, but Lentorre has a way of speaking for itself. Those who’ve been there will understand why the spaces disappeared almost as soon as they were announced.

A Setting That Does Most of the Talking

Lentorre sits in a vast, 25,000-hectare private reserve in Kenya’s South Rift, where the landscape feels open, raw, and unhurried. With exclusive access to the entire area, guests have the rare experience of photographing wildlife without the background hum of other vehicles. It’s just you, the land, and whatever chooses to appear.

March is a particularly rewarding time to be there. As conditions dry, wildlife movements become more predictable, and activity around the waterholes intensifies, welcome news for anyone who enjoys time in photographic hides. The addition of Lake Magadi brings a different type of opportunity altogether: wide, minimalistic scenes, flamingos, and those soft, pastel colours the soda lakes are known for.

Designed for Photographers, Not Crowds

The trip is intentionally small - a maximum of eight people - which keeps things relaxed and gives everyone the space they need. Each photographer has their own row in the vehicle, and access to the hides means you can linger without feeling you need to move on for someone else.

Looking Ahead

Although 2026 and 2027 are now full, it’s heartening to see that trips like this continue to resonate with people who value patience, space, and a deeper connection with wildlife and landscape. For those who missed out, there will be future opportunities, and, as ever, we’ll announce them as soon as they’re ready.
