beaver hide
A unique opportunity to photograph this elusive reintroduced species

Our beaver hide offers you the unique opportunity to watch and photograph Eurasian beavers in their natural habitat. Set at an undisclosed location in Norfolk, our pop-up hide has been set up to maximise opportunities to photograph this charismatic, beautiful and secretive species, reintroduced after an absence of 600 years or longer.

These are wild animals and patience and good field craft are required.

This hide session is operated on a single-client basis. You will be met and briefed by a professional photographer before the session and collected again at the end. To ensure the welfare of the beavers, you will be asked to sign a disclaimer agreeing to follow specific guidelines designed to avoid disturbance.
IMPORTANT: Access to the hide requires a moderate level of physical fitness and agility. The route involves crossing a fallen tree and uneven natural terrain. As beavers actively shape their environment, the landscape around the hide is dynamic and can be awkward underfoot. For this reason, the experience is not suitable for those with limited mobility or balance issues.
